"I don't get it." Rohit Sharma criticises "pitch talk" in response to Ashwin's jab at Australia, saying, "Sad to see."

About

Australia could not stop talking about the Nagpur pitch after the track's initial social media videos went viral. The Australian media made allegations of "doctoring" the conditions. Australia, which lost by an innings and 123 runs on Saturday to go down 0-1 in the four-match Border-Gavaskar series, struggled to score the same amount of runs on two occasions while India managed to score 400 runs in their first innings. After the decisive victory, India's captain, Rohit Sharma, denounced the "pitch talk" after Ashwin made fun of the Australians.

What they said

During his interview with Rohit on BCCI.tv, Ashwin, who was the match-breaker in chief in the second innings with his record-breaking five-wicket haul, launched a vicious jab at Australia for all the "pitch talk."

"The most popular subject on social media, especially for visiting teams, is pitch discussion. There was not a single ball that nicked off and went to pointless areas when you or they were batting. You two didn't seem to be having any difficulties. What's the trick? Is it good batting technique or do we have a different pitch today?" Ashwin enquired of Rohit.

"Similar pitch As I previously mentioned, the conversation we have in the locker room is about your skills and what you can do on the field. I don't see why pitch is being discussed so much. Unfortunately, not enough is said about skills," Rohit answered.

Overview

In the entire game, Australia batted for no more than three sessions. After choosing to bat first during the Test match, they were defeated for just 177 runs on Day 1, and their agony only lasted for one session on Day 3 after they lost all 10 of their wickets for just 91 runs.

On the other hand, India's skipper Rohit reached 100, and Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja each made half-centuries. The 37 runs Mohammed Shami scored, which featured four sixes, also concerned the Australians.
