"Preparations In Full Swing": Team India Works Hard To Prepare For Test Series Against Australia

About

Headed by Rohit Sharma Currently preparing for the four-match series against Australia, which begins on February 9 in Nagpur, Team India is getting ready for the first test of the series. The host crew is present and working hard to ensure a successful conclusion to the series.

It is important to remember that India might qualify for the World Test Championship final with a strong finish to the series. A video that the BCCI posted on social media on Sunday showed players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Suryakumar Yadav getting ready for the forthcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy with other squad members.

What they said

"In contrast, the Australian team is working just as hard in Bengaluru to prepare for the game in Nagpur. The Pat Cummins-led team is getting ready for the Indian conditions at the Karnataka State Cricket Association stadium in Alur by training on spin tracks and enlisting a pool of Indian spinners," the BCCI said in a statement.

Overview

The upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy in India will serve as something of a "last frontier" for the Pat Cummins-captained Australian cricket team, which is currently ranked No. 1 in the world.

Australia's recent success includes victories in the Ashes and subsequent series against Pakistan, the West Indies, and South Africa. They'll be trying to win their first Indian Series in 19 years. They started off strong in the Pune Test on their most recent trip to India in 2017, but they ultimately lost the series 1-2. India, on the other side, has a record-breaking winning streak of 15 series and has not lost at home in more than a decade.
