Match Review
On Thursday, June 30, at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, Dindigul Dragons and Nellai Royal Kings will play in the seventh game of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2022.
The winning captain, Baba Indrajith, said that it was a good performance. Once more, we handled a difficult Powerplay situation nicely. They were extremely well-batted for by Vishal Vaidhya and Hari Nishaanth, but it was amazing to pull back and limit them to 130 in a 12-over game after that. We were confident that we could catch it if a few hitters got off to a strong start. Even if it's a 16 or 17-run over, I always encourage my bowlers that if we take a few wickets, we can get back into the game.
Sanjay Yadav, of all people, is the Player of the Match after launching an incredible 55* off 19 deliveries: Today, I believed that if I played all the way through, I could win. I was assured. I was aware that I needed to stick around until the conclusion.
Many runs went into the Powerplay at the beginning, but we had a conversation and recovered effectively. We were certain that we could chase down 130 and that we just needed one boundary to score 10 runs per over. Apar, I, and everyone else bowled extremely well. It's a collective effort (on the ideal start). Despite our good practise, we always have a different game-changer in each encounter. We'll try to keep moving in the same direction.
