100 catches in the longest format
The day has come! Kohli finally completes his 100 catches in Test cricket and joins the elite list…
The long wait for Virat Kohli's 71st international century may not be over in the third Test against South Africa, which is already underway. However, the Indian captain, on the other hand, managed to score a century in the match. Kohli now has 100 catches in the longest format of the game, putting him among the country's best fielders. He was only the sixth Indian to achieve the accolade.
Kohli reached the century mark in his 99th Test match. Other Indians who have taken 100 or more catches in Test cricket include Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, and Mohammad Azharuddin.
