Match Review 

     On Tuesday, May 23, at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings played in the Qualifier match of the Indian Premier League 2023. 

     The 10th IPL championship game will feature the Chennai Super Kings. Gujarat Titans, the reigning champions, were defeated by them by 15 runs when they were shut out for 157 while chasing a 173-run goal. 

     In the first 10 overs, CSK's opening pair remained unblemished, but GT eventually fought their way back. Ajinkya Rahane, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja, and Moeen Ali delivered some lusty smashes that helped CSK reach 172/7. 

     However, GT never really gained any momentum in response during their pursuit. The largest of them all, Shubman Gill, was kept quiet by the GT bowlers as all of their heavy guns fell without making much of a dent. He ultimately lost for 42 off 38 balls.
