Match Review 

     On Tuesday, July 19, at the Galle International Stadium, Galle, Sri Lanka and Pakistan have play in the 1st Test, Day 4 match of the Pakistan tour of Sri Lanka, 2022.

     On balance, Pakistan will consider themselves somewhat ahead of Sri Lanka in the match as they enter the final day requiring an additional 120 runs to win and Sri Lanka needing 7 wickets. Shafique was the standout performer. 

     He got to work after being fortunate to have a close LBW decision go in his favour early in his innings. He displayed a lot of patience while also taking on any loose balls as he scored a magnificent fourth innings Test hundred, his second in Tests. 

     Imam was accidentally removed from the game, and Azhar Ali was cheaply eliminated for the second time in the match. Babar then joined as an ideal foil, even as Sri Lanka reeled the ball away.
