Emphatic Victory Levels Series For England

England delivered a convincing win against Australia in the fourth ODI at Lord's, triumphing by a massive 186 runs to level the series. Key performances included Harry Brook's knock of 87 and Liam Livingstone's rapid 27-ball 62*, leading England to a formidable total of 312 for 5 in the 39-overs-per-side match.

Australia, tasked with a difficult chase, failed to rise to the occasion and were dismissed for 126 in under 25 overs. This left them with a series of losses and one of their biggest defeats in ODI history.

Australia chanced a vigorous start with Travis Head's aggressive play, but it was short-lived as England's bowlers gained control. Following Head's dismissal, Matthew Potts claimed a total of four wickets and Jofra Archer's double blows dealt further damage to the Australian batting line-up.

England's bowling attack, highlighted by Archer and Potts, proved decisively lethal. Archer took Glenn Maxwell's wicket for the third time in seven games, while Potts picked up three of the last four wickets. Adil Rashid sealed the victory by dismissing Josh Hazlewood.

Earlier, despite initial weather delays and a challenging start, England managed to set a substantial target. Notably, the 79-run partnership between Brook and Duckett provided a much-needed surge during the first innings. Despite a singular early loss by Philip Salt to Hazlewood's tight bowling, England maintained control, setting the stage for their impressive win.
