     To stay in the running for the IPL 2023 play-offs, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Chennai Super Kings by a margin of six wickets. As KKR successfully chased down the 145-run goal with 9 balls remaining, both hitters smashed fifty-run innings. Moeen Ali's powerful smash caused Rinku to be out for 54 (43), but Rana came back unbeaten at 57 from 44 balls.
