Round 21 of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 witnessed some pivotal events in the drive to the top four and the battle for the League Winners' Shield. 

ATK Mohun Bagan opened the round with a 2-0 win over Bengaluru FC. The lowest two teams, NorthEast United FC and SC East Bengal, drew 1-1 in the following game.

Jamshedpur FC defeated Hyderabad FC 3-0 in the third round to climb to the top of the standings. Kerala Blasters FC defeated Mumbai City FC 3-1 in the next match to move into the top four. 

ATK Mohun Bagan defeated Chennaiyin FC 1-0 to go to the semi-finals for the second year in a row.

Amrinder Singh (ATK Mohun Bagan) - 8.18

In both the ATK Mohun Bagan's matches this round, the Punjabi preserved clean sheets, making a total of six saves.

Alexandre Lima (Jamshedpur FC) - 8.6

The midfielder assisted two goals and created nine opportunities in total against Hyderabad FC, earning him the Hero of the Match title and propelling Men of Steel to the top of the league. He also had three tackles and three blocks on defence.



Roy Krishna (ATK Mohun Bagan) - 8.06

The Fijian's goal against Chennaiyin FC clinched their place in the semi-finals. In the contest, he had a passing accuracy of 79 percent.

Alvaro Vazquez (Kerala Blasters FC) - 9.69 

In a high-stakes contest that might decide the destinies of both clubs, Vazquez scored a key brace against Mumbai City FC.

Antonio Perosevic (SC East Bengal) - 7.68

In a match against NorthEast United FC, the striker equalised. He had five shots on goal and two opportunities created.
