Bangladesh tour of South Africa, 2022: full schedule
Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced on Wednesday that the Bangladesh men's cricket team will travel South Africa in March for a multi-format series (February 9).
3 ODIs and 2 Test matches will be contested across four locations between March 18 and April 12. The ODI matches will be held as part of the ICC ODI Super League, while the red-ball matches will be held as part of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2021-23.
Two of the ODI matches will be held at SuperSport Park in Centurion, while one will be held at the Imperial Wanderers in Johannesburg. Similarly, the Test series will begin at Kingsmead in Durban, with the second match taking place at St. George's Park Cricket Ground in Gqeberha.
“SuperSport Park will host two of the ODI matches, with the third taken by the Imperial Wanderers, while the coastal cities of Durban and Gqeberha will take on the Test fixtures. The tour is of great significance for the hosts, as both series count for vital points in the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League and the ICC World Test Championship,” CSA mentioned in a statement.
