Sri Lanka tour of India: revised schedule for upcoming Test and T20I series
The updated itinerary for the T20I and Test series against Sri Lanka, which begins on February 24, has been released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The series will commence immediately following the conclusion of the three-match T20I series against the West Indies.
The 3 T20Is will be contested over the course of four days. The first match will be played in Lucknow, with the final two T20Is being played in Dharamsala back-to-back.
As to Test series, the first one will be held in Mohali from March 4 to 8, while the second, a day-night Test, will take held in Bengaluru from March 12 to 16.
“Sri Lanka will first play the T20I series comprising three matches followed by a two-match Test series, which will be a part of the ICC World Test Championship, 2021-23”.
“Lucknow will now host the first T20I while the next two will be played in Dharamsala. The first Test will now be held in Mohali from March 4th to 8th and the second Test will be played from March 12th to 16th in Bengaluru,” the BCCI reported.
