India vs South Africa 1st Test Day 5: India beat South Africa by 113 Runs, take 1-0 Lead in Three-Match Series
India took South Africa's 3 remaining wickets shortly after lunch to wrap a 113-run victory on the of the opening Test against South Africa in Centurion today. Quinton de Kock was bowled for 21 runs by Mohammed Siraj, and Wiaan Mulder was bowled for one run by Mohammed Shami, giving India their 6th and 7th wickets, respectively, shortly before midday, placing India in front.
Earlier in the day, Team India's first breakthrough happened when Dean Elgar was eventually dismissed for 77 runs for LBW off a Jasprit Bumrah's ball. The win gives India a vital 1-0 lead over South Africa in the three-match Test series. The series will continue Johannesburg for the 2-nd Test before concluding in Cape Town with the final Test.
