Newcastle United 1 -1 Manchester United: Edinson Cavani man of the match

Manchester United were finally back in action this Monday night when they travelled to face Newcastle in the Premier League in London, at St. James’ Park.

Newcastle had won their first two league games under Rangnick before this 1-1 tie, and MU had won their previous four Premier League games against them, their longest such run against them since a run of 5 between 2004 and 2006.

The whole match was a bit tough, until the major comeback Edinson Cavani stepped in with his marvelous goal. United were able to call on Edinson Cavani for the first time since early November. It was definitely their best decision so far and makes Cavani a great asset to MU.
