     By three runs, Bangladesh defeated Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe was held to 147 for 8 in 19.5 overs as Bangladesh batted in defence of a goal of 151 runs. Sean Williams scored 64 runs off of 42 balls, but his team was unable to advance across the finish line. 

     In the meantime, Mosaddek Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, and Taskin Ahmed each claimed three wickets. Initially, Bangladesh was able to reach 150 for seven in 20 overs thanks to a knock of 71 runs off 55 balls by Najmul Hossain Shanto.
