India won the three-match series 2-1 as Sri Lanka was dismissed for 137 in 16.4 overs while chasing a total of 229. Earlier, in the third and final T20I in Rajkot, Suryakumar Yadav hammered an unbeaten century to lead India to a massive total of 228/5 against Sri Lanka.

Suryakumar needed just 19 deliveries to get the 100th run after completing his fifty in 26 balls. He hit nine sixes and seven fours in scoring 112 off 51 balls to remain unbeaten.

Rahul Tripathi and Shubman Gill each scored 35 off 16 balls, with Shubman Gill scoring 46 off 36 balls to lead India in scoring. Dilshan Madushanka claimed two wickets for Sri Lanka, while Kasun Rajitha, Chamika Karunaratne, and Wanindu Hasaranga each claimed one.
