On Thursday, January 5, at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune, India and Sri Lanka played in the 2nd T20I match of the Sri Lanka tour of India, 2023.
Despite their best efforts, Suryakumar Yadav and Axar Patel were unable to prevent Sri Lanka from defeating India by 16 runs in the second T20I in Pune. The three-match series is now tied at 1-1 thanks to this result.
