Match Review
On Wednesday, November 9, at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney, Pakistan and New Zealand played in the 1st Semi-Final match of the T20 World Cup, 2022.
The T20 World Cup final will mark Pakistan's third appearance and first in 13 years. They had fallen short to India in the tournament's debut in 2007, but triumphed in 2009. They were almost eliminated from the Super 12 stages after their first two matches against India and Zimbabwe. But they then staged an incredible comeback, defeating Bangladesh, the Netherlands, and South Africa, and received the biggest favour from the Dutch when they defeated South Africa to progress to the semi-final.
