Match Review
On Sunday, August 28, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, India and Pakistan played in the 2nd match of the Asia Cup, 2022.
What-a-game! Conflicts between India and Pakistan haven't recently provided this level of excitement, but both teams made sure that the ongoing rivalry received another entertaining chapter. Despite the two-paced nature of this pitch, Babar's team should be commended for their performance because 147 was undoubtedly below standard. But they managed to stay on and make sure that India had to work hard to accomplish the objective thanks to consistent wickets and some shrewd defensive bowling.
In reality, India still required 59 runs off 34 balls when Surya was bowled by Naseem, and it wasn't an easy equation under these circumstances. But India's all-rounder team showed up, with Jadeja initially hitting the barrier in a calculated manner and Hardik stamping his authority at the finish with a barrage of jaw-dropping strokes.
Even though just 7 runs were required, there was considerable drama in the last over when Jadeja was out on the first ball and another dot ball reduced the score to 6 off 3. However, Hardik 2.0 simply doesn't care and ends the game with the following ball.
