Haaland's Extraordinary Goal in Manchester City's Victory Over Sparta Prague

In the recent victory of Manchester City over Sparta Prague (5-0), Erling Haaland, the Norwegian ace, scored an outstanding goal leaving Manchester City's coach, Pep Guardiola, in awe. Guardiola described Haaland's acrobatic back-heel volley, executed in the second half of the game, as "not normal for a human being."

The extraordinary goal was one of two scored by Haaland before he was substituted. His second score marked his 44th goal in 42 Champions League games, moving him up to 16th on the all-time list. Guardiola admitted that he was unsure of how Haaland made the goal. "He can touch 15 or 20 balls but have seven or eight chances. It's unbelievable. He made an incredible goal," Guardiola praised.

Haaland's performance also intrigued his teammate Matheus Nunes, who told TNT Sports that he was speechless. Sparta Prague's coach Lars Friis labeled Haaland as possibly the world's best striker.

In addition, this victory saw Manchester city move up to third place in the Champions League table and within sight of the knockout rounds. With an unbeaten streak of 26 games in Europe's top club competition, they have surpassed the record set by Manchester United between 2007 and 2009. Guardiola, proud of his side's play of late, shared, "We played really good again. I'm enjoying a lot the way we're playing lately. We concede few, few chances. We create a lot and we had to be so patient."
