Guardiola's Mountain: Rodri's ACL Injury Challenges Man City

Pep Guardiola is grappling with formidable challenges this season at Manchester City, one of them being the grim news of Rodri's ACL injury. This injury could potentially keep the midfielder out of the game until next season, posing a daunting hurdle for Guardiola and his team. 

Rodri, the defensive midfielder, would have to undergo surgery due to a tear in the ACL of his right knee. This injury occurred during an innocuous collision with Thomas Partey of Arsenal, only 20 minutes into Sunday's 2-2 draw against the Gunners at the Etihad.

Last season, the Spanish midfielder led the Premier League in touches (4,124), completed passes (3,359), progressive passes (521), carries (2,629), and carry distance (11,662 meters/12,754 yards). His statistics also peg him as a key player in tackle attempts (70), successful tackles (43), successful duels (174), and aerial duels won (55). Now, Pep Guardiola and his team must face the rest of the season without this valuable player.
