Match 9: RAJASTHAN ROYALS WON BY 23 RUNS AGAINST MUMBAI INDIANS

This year everything has changed. We can see that leaders in past IPL tournaments are providing a corridor, as we might say, to those who was always struggling to get ‘there’.

The Rajasthan Royals (RR) won their second consecutive match in the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on Saturday at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, defeating the Mumbai Indians (MI) by 23 runs. Jos Buttler became the season's first centurion, as his brilliant knock propelled Rajasthan Royals to a commanding total of 193/8, which the RR bowling team successfully defended to win the game by 23 runs. The Mumbai Indians' unchanged eleven faced a difficult challenge in pursuing a 194-run mark. MI captain Rohit Sharma blasted his trademark pull-shot for six against Prasidh Krishna, but was caught at backward point and dismissed in the same over

Brief Scores: Rajasthan Royals 193/8 (Jos Buttler 100, Shimron Hetmyer 35; Jasprit Bumrah 3-17) beat Mumbai Indians 170/8 (Tilak Verma 61, Ishan Kishan 54; Yuzvendra Chahal 2-26) by 23 runs.

Match 10: GUJARAT TITANS WON BY 14 RUNS AGAINST DELHI CAPITALS

Newbies are surprising us! The Gujarat Titans (GT) won their second game in a row in the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on Saturday at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, defeating the Delhi Capitals (DC) by 14 runs. Gujarat Titans scored 171-6 thanks to Shubman Gill's 84-ball performance, which they successfully defended thanks to Lockie Ferguson's four-wicket haul against Delhi Capitals. The Delhi Capitals had a rough start to their innings while chasing a total of 172. Hardik Pandya, the GT captain, led from the front to dismiss DC opener Tim Seifert in the second over when he was caught near mid-wicket.

Mustafizur took his third wicket when Abhinav Manohar was caught near extra cover, giving GT a total of 171/6 in their first innings.

Scores in a nutshell: Gujarat Titans 171/6 (Shubman Gill 84, Hardik Pandya 31; Mustafizur Rahman 3-23) beat Delhi Capitals 157-9 (Rishabh Pant 43, Lalit Yadav 25; Lockie Ferguson 4-28) by 6 wickets.
