Match Review

     On Sunday, May 7, at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad played in the 52nd match of the Indian Premier League 2023. 

     Before Abdul Samad led SunRisers Hyderabad home in the pursuit of 215 runs against Rajasthan Royals, Glenn Phillips gave the team a lift at the end. When the team required five runs off the penultimate ball, Sandeep Sharma withdrew Samad, signalling the end for SRH. It was a no-ball because Sandeep had overstepped, which was fortunate for SRH.  

     Samad ended the game with a six when he needed four off the last ball. Earlier, Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler played to the top of their abilities as they assisted RR in scoring 214 for 2. Samson hit 66 not out off 38 balls while Buttler scored 95 off 59 balls.
