Match Review

     On Wednesday, April 19, at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants played in the 26th match of the Indian Premier League 2023.

     Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal pursued a conservative 155 with caution, but their 87-run partnership for the first wicket gave Rajasthan a commanding advantage. Yashasvi was then removed by Marcus Stoinis for 44(35), which caused Rajasthan to collapse and turned the tide in Lucknow's favour.  

     The final over's equation was reduced to 19 as a result of the impact. Avesh Khan then bowled a superb final over, striking twice and giving up only 8 runs to keep Rajasthan at 144/6 after 20 overs. Previously, after inviting Lucknow to bat, the hosts were able to hold them to 154/7 thanks to the effective bowling of R Ashwin and Trent Boult.
