Match Review

     On Saturday, November 26, at the Al Janoub Stadium, Australia and Tunisia played in the 21st match of the FIFA World Cup, 2022. 

     Australia's first victory of the competition came in the Group D match, where they defeated Tunisia 1-0. The team, which had lost 4-1 to France in its opening match, battled Tunisia for much of the match before Mitchell Duke scored the game's sole goal to put Australia in the lead.  

     After a pass from Craig Goodwin was deflected by an Australian defender in the 23rd minute of play, Duke scored with a header and some fantastic creativity. Notably, Tunisia and Denmark drew scorelessly in their opening match of the FIFA World Cup 2022.
