Match Review
On Friday, September 30, at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Pakistan and England played in the 6th T20I match of the England tour of Pakistan, 2022. In their sixth Twenty20 match, England defeated Pakistan by eight wickets to tie the seven-match series at 3-3. Phil Salt scored an explosive half-century for the visitors. Aamer Jamal's six allowed England to reach 100 in just seven overs after Salt, who had struggled for runs prior to the game, opened his innings with two fours. Salt then looked in commanding form from the get-go.
In addition to Dawid Malan's 26 and Alex Hales' breezy 27, both batters were dismissed by Shadab Khan's leg-spin. As Salt continued his assault and scored the winning runs in the 15th over, finishing with 13 fours and three sixes in his 41-ball innings, the wickets for Pakistan proved to be little more than consolation.
