     On Saturday, September 17, at the Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore, West Indies Legends and England Legends played in the 9th match of the Road Safety World Series, 2022. 

     West Indies Legends defeated England Legends by an 8-wicket margin thanks to Dwayne Smith and William Perkins. England Legends lost the game after Smith and Perkins put together a 120-run stand in their meagre 157-run chase. After Perkins retired injured, Brian Lara and Narsingh Deonarine finally finished the formalities. 

      West Indies Legends had a great start chasing a target of 157. WI Legends scored 72 runs during the powerplay thanks to Smith and Perkins. They battled Rikki Clarke while treating the pace onslaught with no mercy.
