     On Friday, July 22, at the Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester, South Africa and England have play in the 2nd ODI match of the South Africa tour of England, 2022.

     This is a glaring mismatch. In a game that been cut down to 29 overs each side, both teams have gone all-out. However, South Africa has been blown out rather than just bowled out. 

     The Proteas simply couldn't handle chasing 201 with an excessive amount of left-arm seam in the first spell; at that point, it was just a question of whether the rain would save them. 

     In the eleventh over, it started to drizzle, and Klaasen made an effort to stall play by griping about the pitch-covering sheets by the boundary.  

     However, the umpires continued to allow the players to play, Buttler changed to spin from both ends, and the Protea batting still declined.
