Fazel Atrachali: First Defender to Score 500 Tackle Points in PKL History

Fazel Atrachali, a renowned figure in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), achieved a major milestone by recording 500 tackle points during Bengal Warriorz's 32-32 draw against Puneri Paltan. 

This landmark moment was a fitting recognition for Fazel, who is undeniably the best overseas player and the most proficient defender in the league. He achieved this feat towards the latter part of the first half of the match, with a tackle on Mohit Goyat that catapulted him to this majestic achievement.

Fazel's prowess extends beyond his impeccable defense. He holds an enviable record as the PKL's most successful captain, having won the title twice and reaching finals two additional times. His debut was marked with victory as he won the title with U Mumba in the second season. His winning streak continued as he moved to Patna Pirates in season 4 and captured the title once again.

Switching teams once more to the Gujarat Giants, Fazel reached the league's finals in the subsequent season. This was followed by another final in season 9 with Puneri Paltan. Fazel's presence seems intertwined with team success, courtesy of his impeccably high standards as both a corner defender and exemplary captain.
