Australian all-rounder will miss the rest of the IPL 2022
Nathan Coulter-Nile, an Australian all-rounder who was purchased by Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the mega-auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, has been ruled out for the rest of the season owing to injury. Coulter-Nile was part of the Royals' playing XI in their first match, which they won by 61 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Nathan Coulter-Nile was unable to complete his entire quota of overs after suffering an injury in the opening match of the season. Since then, Navdeep Saini, an Indian bowler, has been named to the Rajasthan Royals' playing XI for the upcoming matches against the Mumbai Indians and the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
There isn't much information about Nathan Coulter-injury, Nile's but the RR team management has announced that he will miss the rest of the season.
Rajasthan Royals posted in tweeter “Until we meet again, NCN. Speedy recovery,”. Coulter-Nile, who’s been playing in IPL cricket since 2013, had earlier said, “It’s good to be picked by the Royals. They’ve always carried a solid reputation on the field and have been one of the tougher teams to beat in the competition, no matter what the situation of the game.”
A couple of weeks ago, Nathan Coulter-Nile said, “For me, the target is to help win the trophy for the Royals, obviously I’d love to be out there and help the team, but in a long tournament you have to be ready for anything the management asks you to do and just prepare yourself for the long-haul.”
It will now be intriguing to see who will take Nathan's place for the remainder of the season.
