At the top of our wishlist is a medal for Vinesh Phogat, a symbol of perseverance and endurance. An Olympic medal would be a befitting response to those who criticized, harmed, and ignored her hardships. 

National records hold an exhilaration of their own, serving as evidence that athletes push their limits during these crucial moments. It's hoped that the Indian team achieves numerous national records at these Games, pushing boundaries and paving the way for future athletes.

In an earnest wish for Manu Bhaker, we look forward to her claiming a medal. Her journey, after braving much post-Tokyo criticism, would give inspiration to many.

The wishlist also includes the desire for a female Indian Olympic champion. The recent surge in the performance of India's sportswomen demands an Olympic peak. 

Harmanpreet Singh's team has the onus of reviving hockey's Olympic glory for India, a wish that has been consistent for 44 years now. A gold medal in this game is indeed overdue. 

Finally, anticipation intensifies as we wish for Neeraj Chopra to retain his Olympic gold. Despite a challenging season, a victory for him in Paris could reestablish his image as the undisputed GOAT of Indian sport, a deserving title considering his contributions to sport in India.
