BCCI announced release of Invitation to Tender for Media Rights to the IPL seasons 2023-2027
Through a tender process, the Indian Premier League's Governing Council is seeking offers from reputable entities to acquire the Media Rights for the seasons 2023-2027.
The 'Invitation to Tender' ("ITT"), which will be made available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee of INR 25,00,000 (Rupees Twenty-Five Lakhs Only) plus any applicable Goods and Services Tax, contains the detailed terms and conditions governing the tender process, including eligibility requirements, the process for submitting bids, proposed media rights packages, and obligations, among other things. In Annexure A to this paper, the mechanism for obtaining the ITT documents is detailed. Purchases of the ITT will be available until May 10, 2022.
The ITT must be purchased by any interested party who want to submit a bid. Only individuals who meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the ITT, as well as the other terms and restrictions outlined therein, are allowed to bid. It is made clear that simply acquiring this ITT does not enable anyone to participate in the bidding process.
BCCI maintains the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or change the bidding process at any time and in any way.
