     On Saturday, April 15, at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings played in the 21st match of the Indian Premier League 2023. 

     Sikandar Raza struck a valiant fifty (57) as Punjab Kings defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 160 runs in 19.3 overs. Mark Wood, Ravi Bishnoi, and Yudhvir Singh Charak each took two wickets but were unable to prevent a loss. 

     Previously, LSG scored 159 for 8 as Sam Curran claimed three wickets and Kagiso Rabada claimed two. KL Rahul earned 74 points off of 56 balls, while his teammates' hitters failed to contribute. KL Rahul also broke the record for the fastest hitter to reach 4000 IPL runs during the game. Sam Curran, the interim captain for PBKS, chose to bowl after winning the toss.
