Match Review
On Wednesday, October 12, at the Manuka Oval, Canberra. Australia and England had played in the 2nd T20I match of the England tour of Australia, 2022.
England beat Australia by 8 runs in the second T20I of the three-match series. After starting the series off well in a tremendously entertaining first T20I in Perth, England now leads the overall series 1-0.
In the 2nd T20I match, England was in trouble in the opening half of the first innings against a powerful Australian team, they managed to mount a remarkable comeback. Ali joined the fight when Malan took the initiative. Then Curran and others contributed by casting some excellent ball spells to stop 178.
However, Australia would be aware that they were very close and that these minor details would count in important games.
