     The captaincy of Buttler hasn't gone well so far. England finished the home white-ball season without a victory after losing both the ODI and T20I series to India, 1-1 draw in the ODI series and a subsequent 1-2 defeat in the T20Is. 

     Despite the fact that 191 was a huge ask on this pitch, which benefited both pace and spin equally. They wanted their skipper to get off to a strong start, but Buttler was the first to go down, and he was followed by an unfocused Jason Roy.
