Match Review
On Sunday, July 24, at the Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad, India and West Indies have play in the 2nd ODI match of the India tour of West Indies 2022.
With one game remaining, India wins the series 2-0. This was taken by Axar Patel representing India. At the very end, his imperious hitting was effective. When the pressure was on, some clean hits kept India in the pursuit and they persisted till India crossed the finish line.
After India fell behind by three for 79, Iyer and Samson gave them new life. However, neither could surpass fifty. Then Hooda and Axar joined forces, but Axar ultimately carried the baton to the finish line.
Avesh Khan relieved some of Axar's pressure by swinging strongly and scoring a few fours. Windies must simply pick themselves up because they tragically missed out on a victory while being so close.
