2nd & 3rd match of IPL 2022: DC won by 4 wickets and PBKS won by 5 wickets
In their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 opener against Delhi Capitals on Sunday, Rohit Sharma lamented the squandered opportunities.When they reduced the 2020 finalists to 77/5 in 10 overs, the five-time champions had DC on the ropes. Lalit Yadav (48 not out off 38 balls) and Axar Patel (38 not out off 17 balls) combined 74 runs in just 40 balls to win the game. Rohit was surprised that the hitters were helped by the pitch, as they put up 177 runs, but admitted that they lacked in the bowling department.
“I thought it was a good score. It didn't look like that kind of a pitch where you could get 170-plus at the start," Rohit said after the match. Then he added “But we played really well in the middle and finished off really well as well. Good score on the board, it's just that we didn't bowl according to the plans,".
On April 2, MI will take on Rajasthan Royals at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai, while DC will face Gujarat Titans at the MCA Stadium in Pune on the same day.

As to 3rd match of IPL 2022, it was nearly a reset for both Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings at the end of IPL 2021.
