Match Review

     On Sunday, November 6, at the Adelaide Oval, Adelaide, Netherlands and South Africa played in the 40th match of the Super 12, T20 World Cup, 2022.

     South Africa's chances of making it to the semifinals were crushed after their 13-run loss against Netherlands. South Africa was held to 145 for eight in 20 overs when chasing a target of 159 runs, with Brandon Glover claiming three wickets for the Netherlands. Bas de Leede and Fred Klaassen each claimed two wickets in the meanwhile. South Africa's top scorer was Rilee Rossouw, who hit 25 runs off 19 balls.  

     At first, Colin Ackermann was in excellent form and scored an unbroken 41 runs off 26 balls to help his team reach 158 for four in 20 overs. Stephan Myburgh, who bats first, also played a significant innings, scoring 37 runs off 30 balls, including seven fours. For South Africa, Keshav Maharaj claimed two wickets.
