Bangladesh's T20 World Cup and Asia Cup captain will be Shakib Al Hasan

About

Shakib Al Hasan, an all-around player, has been selected as Bangladesh's captain for the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup. A 17-person roster for the Asia Cup, which begins on August 27 in the UAE, was also unveiled by the BCB. Six teams will compete in the 15th Asia Cup, which will be held in the UAE (main event).

India, who are the current winners, has won the trophy seven times, making them the most successful team overall. This year's tournament will use the T20 format, as opposed to the ODI format that was used for the previous one.
