     On Sunday, March 12, at the Hagley Oval, Christchurch, New Zealand and Sri Lanka played in the 1st Test, day 4 match of the Sri Lanka tour of New Zealand, 2023.

     At the conclusion of Day 4 of the current first Test match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand in Christchurch, a fiery century from Angelo Mathews gave Sri Lanka the upper hand.
