Here are the T20 World Cup Final rule changes between Pakistan and England

     On Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Pakistan and England will meet in the T20 World Cup championship game. While Jos Buttler-led England thrashed India to get to the summit match, Pakistan defeated New Zealand in the semifinals. But in the end, the possibility of rain hangs large, with Sunday's forecast calling for a probability of precipitation.

     In the event that a match cannot take place on the planned day, it is crucial to note that there is a reserve day on Monday. The International Cricket Council (ICC) made a few minor alterations to the final's playing field on Saturday. 

What they said

     In case more time is needed to finish the match and determine a result, the Event Technical Committee (ETC) expanded the availability of additional playing time on the reserve day from the original provision of two hours to four hours.

     The release stated that every effort would be made to finish the match on the scheduled match day, with any necessary reduction of overs taking place. "It may be noted that 10 overs per side are required to constitute a match in the knockout stage," ETC added.

     "The match will only move to the reserve day if the minimum number of overs required to make up a match cannot be bowled on Sunday. The reserve day's play will continue from the regular match day's play," ETC added.

Overview 

     On Sunday, there is an additional 30 minutes of time available for the match to be finished, and there is an additional four hours of time available for the match to be finished on Monday.

     If the final score is tied, a Super Over will be played, if the weather interferes and the Super Over cannot be completed, Pakistan and England will be deemed joint winners.
