     On Wednesday, November 2, at the Adelaide Oval, Adelaide, India and Bangladesh played in the 35th match of the Super 12, T20 World Cup, 2022. 

     In a Super 12 game marred by weather, India defeated Bangladesh by five runs. With this result, the Men in Blue go into first place in Group 2 as they now have six points after four games. India's start was sluggish, with Rohit Sharma going down for two. However, KL Rahul's fifty and Virat Kohli's unbeaten 64 runs in 44 balls propelled India to 184/6 in 20 overs.

     Litton Das led the run chase for Bangladesh in their spirited reaction. Before play was halted by rain, which also caused the goal to be lowered to 151 in 16 overs, he was poised to hit a 21-ball 50.

     Following the restart of play, Bangladesh quickly lost wickets, beginning with Das being run out for 60. Mohammed Shami gave India its second breakthrough shortly after. Following that, Arshdeep Singh struck twice in one over, while Hardik Pandya claimed two victims in the over after him.
