India worked up a sweat in the match, but they maintained control. That is evidenced by yet another early finish. They did well with their bowling and held Zimbabwe to 161. After that was over, the batters only needed to finish the formalities.
Rahul made a name for himself but failed early. Before giving their wickets away, Dhawan and Gill once more displayed exceptional talent. And that was the lone hiccup in India's perspective. Samson and Hooda maintained their composure to develop a partnership of over 50 runs, although Hooda's total was only a few runs shy of the winning total.
